Operation Bandage: Heal the Wounds is dedicated to honoring and supporting our nation’s heroes—our military veterans. Based in Armstrong County, Pennsylvania, we provide financial assistance for veterans, resources, and community programs for veterans’ organizations and facilities, including the Mechling–Shakely Veterans Center. Through fundraising events, community partnerships, and volunteer efforts, we strive to heal the visible and invisible wounds of those who have served. Every dollar raised goes directly toward improving the lives of veterans in our community, ensuring comprehensive military veterans support.

At Operation Bandage Heal the Wounds, our mission is to enhance the lives of those in need by providing essential services and support through community programs for veterans. We believe that everyone, including military veterans, deserves access to basic necessities such as food, shelter, and healthcare, along with financial assistance for veterans to help them thrive.
Founded in 1995, Operation Bandage Heal the Wounds has been dedicated to supporting our communities for over 25 years. Our organization was established to address the growing need for community programs for veterans, providing vital financial assistance for veterans facing medical or social challenges.
We offer a variety of community programs for veterans and services to meet the needs of our community, including emergency financial assistance for veterans, job training, and healthcare services. Our goal is to empower military veterans and their families to become self-sufficient and thrive.
